KENOVA - Although St. Albans already had a game under its belt
prior to Friday night's 27-3 win over Spring Valley in the Wolves'
Den, the contest looked a lot like the opener for both teams.
Twenty-eight penalties were accepted and the Red Dragons (2-0)
overcame three turnovers and 102 yards in penalties to remain
unbeaten.
"We've been our own worst enemy, but those are things that we can
work on," said St. Albans coach Derek Christian. "We saw a lot of
good things out there, we just have to eliminate the penalties and
see what we can do."
Junior Marcus Fox helped to negate a lot of St. Albans mistakes
with a 185-yard rushing performance for the Red Dragons.
