Article: South Loop loft tour set for Sunday

Eleven private residences -- including some in pre-1900 landmark
buildings -- will be open for viewing on Sunday during the annual
Loft Walk in the South Loop.
Self-guided tours will begin at the Chicago landmark Dearborn
Station, 47 W. Polk. Showgoers will see homes in the Printers Row
District, the Historic Michigan Boulevard District and South Loop
neighborhoods. Visitors can walk, or ride a trolley bus (where there
will be commentary by a South Loop historian).
Two of the lofts are on the second floor in the Donohue Building,
711 S. Dearborn -- built in 1883. The building was used for the
publication of books for many decades. Both units on the tour have a
