THIS is London's latest landmark - the new Pounds 800 million St
Pancras International station.
Looking like a glass football pitch, it will house Eurostar
trains when they move from Waterloo exactly one year from today.
It has been built because the older domed part of the station
that fronts Euston Road isn't long enough to cater for the
quartermile-long trains.
Inside will be Europe's longest champagne bar - all 92 metres of
it. There will also be a "world class" brasserie, a fresh food
farmers' market and the inevitable gastropub, besides numerous
shops.
