THIS is the new Pounds 800million St Pancras International
station.
With a huge glass roof, it will house the quarter-mile-long
Eurostar trains when they switch operation from Waterloo exactly one
year from today.
More than 45 million travellers will use the station each year
and operator London Continental Railways believes some people will
visit just for the concourse facilities.
These include Europe's longest Champagne bar - all 302ft of it -
a brasserie, farmers' market, gastropub and numerous shops.
The Eurostar will run on the new Pounds 5.8billion Channel
Tunnel rail link direct into St Pancras, meaning a London to Paris
journey time of two hours 15 minutes, a reduction of 20 ...
