Krispy Kreme Doughnut shop won't open in Evansville until later
this year, but already the doughnut wars have begun.
Sitting in the Donut Bank on Washington Avenue Wednesday
afternoon, Melissa Aman, a young Evansville mother, said she and her
husband, Mark, will buy Krispy Kreme doughnuts when the new shop
opens.
"They just have better doughnuts," she said as she finished off a
Donut Bank treat.
"Will you quote her in print so I can put it on our refrigerator?
She'll later deny she ever said that," said her husband.
Until Krispy Kreme opens, Melissa Aman said she'll continue coming
