The initial elation that Dish Network is finally going to offer
access to local TV channels dissolved into frustration as customers
learned that they first must have their dishes replaced -- and may
have to wait until February or March to do so.
"They gave me a date of March 1" to install the new SuperDish,
customer John Mathias of Evansville said Thursday.
"I'm 78. I may be dead by the time it gets here," Mathias said.
"It really pulls my cork."
Many Dish Network customers in the Evansville-Henderson area were
excited when they heard the satellite TV service would make local
channels available beginning Thursday. "When I read that in the
