Turkey might provide the gobble-gobble at Thanksgiving dinners,
but it's the side dishes that get gobbled-gobbled.
It's the side dishes that get most of the attention while the
turkey roasts or is being deep-fried; it's the side dishes that can
be "assigned" to dinner attendees, and it's the side dishes that
consume the majority of the space when you set your holiday table.
