Fly fishing is all about finesse, and the Oho Valley Fly Rod Club
hopes to teach some lessons in the sport at its fifth annual fly
fishing seminar.
The guest of honor is John Gulley, a world-class angler who has
pioneered several techniques of fly fishing, including high water
techniques for trout, freshwater flies for striped bass and
revolutionary ideas for banging bass.
In 1998, Gulley was the Orvis Guide of the Year and was the fly
fishing distance cast winner in the Guides Olympics. He is a
consultant to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and works with
disabled anglers to increase their fishing enjoyment.
