Article: CAMPAIGN TO RECRUIT FOSTER FAMILIES POOL OF FOSTER PARENTS IS SMALLER THAN IT USED TO BE, OFFICIALS SAY

Chris Morrison's goal is to have so many qualified Hoosiers trained to be foster parents that many don't have children placed with them.

Morrison, executive director of the Indiana Foster Care and Adoption Association, visited Evansville's Division of Family and Children office Wednesday to kick off a statewide campaign to recruit more foster families.

Lark Buckman, director of the Vanderburgh, Posey and Gibson Division of Family and Children county offices, said efforts at recruiting foster parents had been sporadic in the last few years.
