Our 18-month-old granddaughter, Alyssa Grace, loves blueberries.
We put a few on her high chair tray and she pops them one at a time
in her mouth. It's her favorite snack.
We love blueberries, too, and local berry patches are bursting
with the delicious fruit. Check the Farmers Market section in the
newspaper's classified ads to find local blueberry sources.
The American Institute for Cancer Research suggests that we toss a
handful of fresh berries into our breakfast cereal or use them to top
a warm English muffin spread with cream cheese. Puree them in a
blender with yogurt or milk for a powerhouse smoothie. Mix them into
a chicken salad or use them to add color and flavor to a summer fruit ...
