* The St. Louis Cardinals have stopped taking orders for game- used seats from Busch Stadium after selling more than 13,000 pairs.

However, they're giving fans -- at least, those with deep pockets - - another chance to own a piece of Cardinals history by selling limited-edition game-used seat backs from Busch Stadium that will be hand-numbered and autographed by Hall of Famers Stan Musial, Red Schoendienst, Bob Gibson, Lou Brock and Ozzie Smith.

The cost is $599 plus tax, shipping and handling.

The number sold will be equal to the number of Cardinals games at Busch Stadium since it opened in 1966 -- between 3,222 and 3,232, depending upon how far the Redbirds advance in ...
