Indeed. "Sonsie." "Gratefu." "Gie." "Haggis."
It's Robert Burns at his, well, best, if you consider haggis a
"best."
And that's if you even know what haggis is.
"Haggis has gotten a bad reputation," said Bill Nesmith, a member
and bagpipe major of the Evansville Pipe Band.
"Maybe it's an acquired taste, but it's delicious."
Perhaps only a Scot would consider haggis delicious. The haggis to
be served at next week's Robert Burns Night is from a Scottish
butcher in Florida who makes it, cooks it and freezes it.
