Article: FRENCH DOORS CAN BE EASILY REPAIRED

Q: Do you have any information about French doors? The house we want to purchase has two sets of French doors. One faces northwest and one faces east.

The home inspector told us that the floor just inside the northwest door has water damage under the carpet and that the east door is stuck and is very hard to open and close.

Is this a common problem for French doors? Should we ask the sellers to replace the doors?

I really like the house and the neighborhood, but this could be a deal breaker.
