There are, in fact, people in Longmead Crossing who have something
besides the intercounty connector on their minds.
Stan Spottswood, for one, would much rather talk about some great
cooking going on next door. His neighbor Sandra Hall is offering a
"No Cook Friday Night" meal service to make some extra cash.
Spottswood, a teacher at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School who
is off for the summer, was drumming up a little business for Hall
between laps at the community pool the other day. "Chicken or fish
and two sides, macaroni and cheese and green beans," he said, ticking
off the day's menu from a flyer.
