Article: HELP A GRINCH: SHOW OFF HOLIDAY DECORATIONS

I'm probably the last person in the world who should be writing a column about holiday decorations.

Around my house, I'm the guy who grouses each December about dragging the artificial Christmas tree up from the basement.

As for Christmas lights hung from gutters with care? Won't that just increase my utility bill?

Even my grandchildren think there is something eerily sympathetic in my reading of Dr Seuss' "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."

But I only have to look out at my Akin Park neighborhood to know that not everybody shares my feelings about holiday decorations.

On evenings when everybody has their displays lighted, you'd almost think you were at Ritzy's Fantasy of Lights.
