Lots of folks in Warrick County enjoy trips to Florida in February
or March.
Lots of folks in Warrick County are fans of Major League Baseball.
And now, more and more folks in Warrick County have decided to
combine the two by including spring training games on their list of
activities during their stay down South.
"This was our third year going to spring training, and it gets
better every time," said Dayne Heldt of Newburgh who, along with his
wife, Dana, son, Larkin, 10, and daughter, Payton, 7, just returned
from a week's stay on Siesta Key, near Sarasota, Fla. Sarasota also
happens to be the spring training headquarters of Dayne's favorite
team, the Cincinnati Reds.
