The community website of Bristol's Evening Post has been praised
for helping thousands of young disabled people learn more about the
West's largest riding centre.
The link to Avon Riding Centre has become the most visited on the
www.thisisbristol.com Beehive site, attracting hundreds of hits a
week.
Centre staff decided to launch a website as a way of keeping
visitors informed about riding times. Avon Riding Centre is one of
Riding for the Disabled Association's biggest in the UK, with more
than 600 people visiting each week.
Keith Edwards, husband of centre organiser Gill Edwards, suggested
the centre joined the Evening Post's online community site.
