Hot Hot Heat: Louisiana, Bristol HOT Hot Heat might sound like the
latest celebrity gossip mag, or like a group designed as a
temperature-raising reaction against Coldplay and Cold Feet.
In fact they're a funk-punk quartet from Victoria, on the southern
tip of Vancouver Island, Canada.
For this debut UK tour, they're the subject of hot hot hype by the
music press as this week's next big thing.
Formed in 1999, HHH were originally punks with synthesisers, but
have since adopted a melodic, fun approach.
