During the 1980s The Brat Pack ruled our cinema screens. Everyone had their favourite, whether it was Demi Moore or Molly Ringwald, Rob Lowe or Emilio Estevez, to name just four of the famous faces.

Two decades on and a few names have dropped off the radar - Ringwald seems to have disappeared, and so, we thought, had Andrew McCarthy.

Although the actor has been beavering away in the US, UK audiences have barely had a glimpse of him for years.
