THERE are arguments over whether MSPs are making much of a job of
running Scotland - but it hasn't stopped them wanting to interfere in
foreign countries.
Six MSPs, who are also members of the Commonwealth Parliamentary
Association, are just back from a trip to Malawi.
If it wasn't such a povertystricken country their "factfinding"
mission would have been called a junket.
To mark the trip, they've produced a 522-paragraph report written
in the style of a primary school essay.
Breathlessly, they report a visit where "the delegation was a
little late in arriving and hundreds of people, including babies and
toddlers, were eagerly waiting".
