ALEX FERGUSON came face to face with Alex Ferguson at Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium.

Young Alex, 10, from Paisley, was taking part in the launch of a new Subbuteo game along with other namesakes.

The youngster said: "It was so exciting meeting the players. I spoke to Alex Ferguson, but I didn't know what to say to him.

"I've been a Man United fan for a long time so it was great that we got to come to Old Trafford."
