THERE was anger in Aberdeen today after the SPL refused their plea
to postpone tomorrow's game against Celtic at Parkhead.
The Dons have fears for their fans travelling south to Glasgow
after Grampian Police warned of "treacherous road conditions" and
told motorists not to travel unless their journeys were absolutely
necessary.
Up to two feet of snow fell overnight up north on the third day of
the white-out, with the prediction for more blizzards to come.
But, with SFL games already called off and Scottish football
facing a wipe-out, the SPL rejected the Aberdeen request, and
insisted the game will go ahead.
