OUTSIDE the rain was horizontal and the temperature had dropped to
a level where brass monkeys were growing nervous.
"I love Glasgow in the springtime, " sang the Moll, under her
breath.
I'd promised the good lady a pleasant spring lunch at a city
eatery of her choice, but with mother nature throwing a temper
tantrum, we settled on something more comforting. We needed some fire
in our bellies.
It had been almost a decade since the Moll and I sat elbow to
elbow with our fellow diners at the littleist restaurant in town -
the Wee Curry Shop in Garnethill.
Sure, the Wee Curry empire may have broadened to occupy premises
in the uber chic Ashton Lane in the West End, but the original joint
