Network Tasman Trust has dropped the idea of setting up a
charitable trust worth millions of dollars.
Chairman Ted Anderson said the trust had received legal advice
that pursuing the charitable trust in its planned form could be
costly and take a long time, and there was no guarantee the High
Court would approve it. It had decided not to pursue the idea at a
public meeting this week.
