Postel now owns RedBrick Pizza in Rancho Cucamonga across from
Ontario Mills, and when he heard that fellow CHP Officer John
Bailey was killed Feb. 25 while trying to pull over a suspected
drunken driver, he immediately wanted to help.
Bailey was a friend of Postel's, and Postel wanted to organize a
charity event at his restaurant for the family.
"The family is still grieving and did not want to do it at this
time -- it's too soon for them to think about that right now," said
Postel. "But it did get me thinking about what I can do to help
those in need in our community."
Postel opened his restaurant on Dec. 8. His goal is to not only
