Article: Taco Bell goes bowling for new eaters

Taco Bell is going to the bowls. In an effort to upgrade its once rather tacky image and satisfy the public's craving for meals in a bowl, the Tex-Mex chain today rolls out a Zesty Chicken Border Bowl.

The Border Bowl was added after a Taco Bell food fetish survey (that's what they called it) revealed a vast majority of Americans-- 93 percent--eat a meal in a bowl every week. The bowl concept also dovetailed well with Taco Bell's "Think Outside the Bun" advertising tagline.
