Article: Metrolink train hits SUV, six injured

BALDWIN PARK - Six people suffered minor injuries Wednesday when a Metrolink train hit a sport utility vehicle that rolled onto its path.

The driver, who left the SUV before it got hit, wasn't hurt.

Metrolink train hits SUV

The collision delayed three Metrolink trains. Six people on the train complained of pain in their necks and backs, said County Fire Inspector Ed Osorio.

The collision happened about 2 p.m. at Ramona Boulevard and Downing Avenue.

The driver, a 33-year-old Baldwin Park woman, was heading north on Downing Avenue and stopped at a red light, said Baldwin Park Lt. Raul Martinez.
