OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. - DeVry University recently was honored
as the No. 1 university in the nation for awarding bachelor's
degrees in computer and information sciences to minority students.
A survey "Diverse: Issues in Higher Education" magazine ranked
DeVry first in computer information sciences on its list of Top 100
Degree Producers.In the same report, the university also placed
first for granting degrees to Hispanics and second for Asian and
Native American students.
During the 2004-05 academic year, nearly 68 percent of students
earning bachelor's degrees at DeVry's 10 California locations were
minorities.
