Article: Jurupa adopts dress code

Jurupa Unified School District students will have to get use to a districtwide dress code for the upcoming school year.

The Board of Education approved the regulations at its Monday meeting.

As a result, all district schools will have consistent dress code guidelines, said Susan Jindra, assistant superintendent for education services.

The dress code is divided into nine categories, including gang- relatedapparel, appropriate dress and prohibited items.
