A Retired ship's captain made racial remarks towards shop staff
after a series of disputes between them, a court heard.
George McPhail also struggled with Nabih Lassoued in the
altercation on February 21.
At Aberdeen Sheriff Court he admitted the offence and one of
breaking the peace.
McPhail, 63, acted in a racially aggravated manner, which caused
or was intended to cause alarm or distress to Mr Lassoued at the
Spice Shop, 534 George Street, Aberdeen.
The charge states he made a racial remark, struggled with Mr
Lassoued and threatened him with violence.
McPhail also admitted shouting, swearing, conducting himself in a
