Lansdown held its traditional end of season Texas Scramble on
Saturday, with 36 teams of four taking part.
The winning team of Dave Whyte, Paul Bowker, Jake Harding and Nick
Bean, all of whom had played in a similar event on the previous day
with Watson Associates, scored a nett 53. In second place, just one
shot back were Terry Wynes, Brendon O'Hara, Jamie Cox and Mark Hobbs-
Shoulder.
In third place, only a quarter of a shot behind, was the team of
Steve Maddison, Terry Corbett, Kevin Bristow and Neil Baker, who just
pipped Geoff Tovey, son Simon, Maurice Anstey and Ken Watson.
On Wednesday the club held its rearranged Seniors Invitation Day
with members inviting players from other clubs ...
