How to skin a rabbit and other survival skills can be picked up at
Eastnor Castle this week.
The castle is piloting new adventure days, to encourage young
people to Do It Outside.
The activities, which take place tomorrow and Wednesday, aim to
give children aged 11 to 16 years old a bit of independence and a
boost in confidence.
The young adventurers will also be taught how to work effectively
in a team and what to do if they find themselves lost and alone in an
unfamiliar environment.
Bravery is needed as they can zoom 270 metres down a zipline from
the castle's highest turret, abseil 25 metres and take the big leap
of faith, jumping in to space with a harness on.
