Snapping turtles, poisonous snakes, giant footprints, big cat
sightings - even a skunk - and it's still only May.
We've not had so much excitement since the lions broke out of the
circus and roamed around Top Town.
What high summer will bring, who can tell?
We might get an anaconda dragging a traffic warden into the
Freshney, a crocodile in the sewers or killer bees descending on
Cleethorpes In Bloom.
OK, I may be being a bit too flippant, but I'm only jealous
because I haven't seen these unusual visitors myself.
Maybe David Attenborough will film his next series from Town Hall
Square - I reckon it must be down to global warming.
But seriously, we don't know how lucky we are, as ...
