A Successful funding bid means Caistor can Stomp!
Caistor Twinning Association is celebrating being awarded
pounds5,090 from Awards For All to fund a community project for the
people of the town.
The project - called Caistor Stomps - will see a series of
drumming workshops lead up to a spectacular public performance in the
autumn with Caistor's twinning partners from Savigne le Veque.
Association chairwoman Carol Mackenzie said: "These will not be
just ordinary drumming workshops - they will be done in the style of
the famous Stomp band who use everyday items such as dustbins,
brooms, saucepans and cutlery for their instruments.
