Hoteliers in Cleethorpes have hit out at the lack of consultation
over the salt marsh creeping up the resort's beach.
The Cleethorpes Hotel and Guesthouse Association (CHGA) says North
East Lincolnshire Council has not talked to it properly about the
issue.
Members of the group sent a list of urgent questions to NELC - and
environment portfolio holder Martin Vickers responded.
But the group is now demanding a public meeting because members
feel "not enough" information is being passed on to residents.
Committee member Pat Armitage said: "The salt marsh has been
developing for the last few years and there is not enough
consultation with people.
