A Grimsby school is looking to the future, as work begins on its
new building.
In September, the Oasis Academy Wintringham - formerly
Wintringham School - will open its doors.
And, although pupils will have a new uniform and curriculum, the
finishing touch will be the innovative learning centre.
The new building will be an ultra modern three-tier facility.
It will be eco-friendly, with solar panels and wind turbines, and
will house extensive ICT facilities.
As pupils stood alongside Mayor Coun Stewart Swinburn and Canon
Michael Hunter ready with their shovels, founder and Chief Executive
