A Fabulous fun day will be held to help a prostate scanner appeal.
Members of the Immingham Rotary Club have organised a family fun
day on September 16 to raise money for the appeal at Grimsby's Diana,
Princess of Wales Hospital.
The club raised half of the pounds7,000 required for the scanner
through a fun run last year but a similar one planned for this year
had to be cancelled.
Instead, they are holding the fun day around the Crown and Anchor
pub at Tetney Lock, which will include a sponsored walk, a duck race,
live music and more.
Local celebrity Kim Gee will also be performing.
They are hoping to raise the remaining pounds3,500 for the
scanner, which can detect an array of prostate ...
