Violent Steven Burley twice attacked a neighbour - and even stole
a treasured gold chain from his own brother, the court heard.
He admitted assaulting Mark Shadlock between December 1 and 12,
and assaulting him again, causing actual bodily harm, on February 22.
He also admitted stealing a gold chain, belonging to David Burley,
between March 13 and April 17.
Stephen Welch, prosecuting, said Burley asked Mr Shadlock during a
confrontation: "Do you want knocking out?"
He punched him to the head, knocking his glasses off and causing
bruising around an eye and dizziness.
