More than 4,500 premises across Teignbridge are preparing to go smoke free from July 1.

To help businesses to comply with the new nationwide legislation, Teignbridge is holding a week of events offering advice and support as part of their 'Butts Out' campaign.

Cllr Gordon Hook, Teignbridge Council executive spokesperson for environmental services, said: "Keeping Teignbridge clean and green is one of our main priorities.

"The new smoke-free legislation will play an important role in helping us achieve this aim while promoting healthy lifestyles for Teignbridge residents.
