More than 4,500 premises across Teignbridge are preparing to go
smoke free from July 1.
To help businesses to comply with the new nationwide legislation,
Teignbridge is holding a week of events offering advice and support
as part of their 'Butts Out' campaign.
Cllr Gordon Hook, Teignbridge Council executive spokesperson for
environmental services, said: "Keeping Teignbridge clean and green is
one of our main priorities.
"The new smoke-free legislation will play an important role in
helping us achieve this aim while promoting healthy lifestyles for
Teignbridge residents.
"We know that the majority of people support the legislation, and
these events are not focusing on enforcement but ...
