A torbay Hospital consultant anaesthetist has been honoured with
the British Association of Day Surgery's president's prize.
Dr Kerri Houghton was awarded the prize for her outstanding
contribution to day surgery nationally over the past year.
It was awarded at the Association's Annual Scientific Meeting,
held in Torquay.
And Torbay Hospital is celebrating an almost complete across-the-
board haul, on home ground, of the conference's prizes.
Awarding Dr Houghton the president's prize, Dr Ian Jackson said
she is widely known across the country for enabling new projects to
improve day surgery.
Dr Houghton has been the day surgery unit director and a clinical
director of anaesthetics at Torbay ...
