Paignton's Geoff Cunningham and Newton Abbot's Steve Short share
the lead in our Herald Hotshots predictions competition.
But it's still tight at the top following the latest three rounds.
Seventy entrants picked Widnes to win the Northern Rail Rugby League
Cup final; only nine guessed that Padraig Harrington would win golf's
Open; and 166 thought a Spanish born rider would triumph in cycling's
Tour de France.
Thanks to sponsorship from Bodysense Health and Leisure Club,
Torbay Leisure Centre and the Riviera International Conference
Centre, there are extra prizes this year as well as pounds200,
pounds100 or pounds50 cash for our top three come the end of
November.
