A torquay man who attacked a taxi driver after getting out of his
cab without paying his fare has been ordered to pay his victim
pounds1,000 in compensation.
At Exeter Crown Court 27-year-old Aaron Wilson pleaded guilty to
causing actual bodily harm to Reza Sobhimoghaddam in July last year.
The court heard the cabbie sustained scratches to his face and a
broken finger in the unprovoked attack on him.
Prosecutor Greg Richardson said the taxi driver picked up Wilson
in The Strand, Torquay at 2.10am and took him to Well Street in
Paignton where the defendant got out.
