Electronics design engineer Paul Bearne has struck gold with a
pioneering new safety gadget that can prevent fatalities on boom
lifts.
And in a masterstroke of damage limitation he has moved the centre
of his pioneering six month old business out of his dining room and
back bedroom and into Torbay Innovation Centre, at South Devon
College - to ensure his marriage stays intact.
The 45-year-old livewire businessman, a former STC employee, who
is having his device manufactured in China and has a contract to
supply a leading German manufacturer, said: "With any electronics
