Plymouth and South West Co-operative Society has won approval from
Brixham Town Council's planning committee to divide its former post
office and menswear shop into several units including an office.
The shop, which closed down with three others at the beginning of
the year following a merger with the independent Brixham Co-op
Society, was the subject of a recent planning application.
The Co-op applied for a variation of condition two of its existing
planning approval at 43-47 Fore Street.
This will enable it to divide the former two-storey post office
and clothing store - being offered leasehold - into separate smaller
units.
