Whistle blower Matthew Harper is focusing on a new life after
settling a long running wrangle with Torbay Council.
Mr Harper, 48, of Paignton, has set up a photography studio in the
town to do wedding, portrait, family, children and sport work.
In May this year he accepted a pounds182,000 settlement from
Torbay Council to settle his claim for unfair dismissal when he was
sacked in 2004 after raising concerns about the tendering of a
pounds1million contract.
He was out of work for three years and as he says wanted to stay
in Devon but not return to a council and his previous job in
transport he set about finding something new.
