Wife of the country's president, Eva passed away with her husband,
General Juan Domingo Peron, by her side.
Maria Eva Duarte was born in 1919 in the village of Los Toldos.
She was the youngest of five children, and the family experienced
hardship following the death of her father when she was just seven.
She moved to Buenos Aires before she was 20 to follow her dream of
