A charity which helps fight an incurable and debilitating illness
is stepping up its campaign to raise public awareness and give some
sufferers respite.
People with fibromyalgia, widespread pain affecting the muscles
but not the joints, have joined together to form Fibrohouse South
West.
A high-profile launch is being staged in St Budeaux on Saturday
with entertainment and a visit by city boxing legend Scott Dann.
Charity director Victor Boumante, himself a sufferer, said there
was not enough help for people with fibromyalgia, ME and chronic
fatigue syndrome.
