Masses of toddlers have been monkeying around on a mission to
raise money for charity.
More than 700 under-fives took part in the first Monkey March at
Trentham Gardens yesterday.
Youngsters enjoyed spotting monkeys during their three-quarters-
of-a-mile jaunt, in aid of the Donna Louise Trust's Treetops Hospice
and the Cheethams children's ward at the University Hospital of
North Staffordshire.
Organiser Carl Robinson had the fund-raising idea after his son
was ill last year.
The 34-year-old, from Weston Coyney, said: "My little boy Luis was
in hospital with respiratory problems and with the Monkey Forest
reopening recently, I thought it would be good to arrange a walk
around here to raise ...
