PARIS - An Oxford County grand jury handed up indictments against
30 individuals Thursday. Four of those individuals were charged with
Class A felonies.
Dates for further court proceedings have not been set yet.
Mark A. Ambrose, 31, 101 Hancock St., Apt. 6, Rumford, indicted on
two counts of criminal solicitation to commit murder. While
incarcerated in the Oxford County Jail, Ambrose sent letters to
individuals trying to hire them to kill his ex-girlfriend and her
husband, according to police. He was transferred to the York County
Jail in Alfred.
Francis S. Bartasius, 53, 295 Empire Road, Poland, indicted on
charges of criminal operating under the influence and operating
without a license. ...
