BUCKFIELD - Town Manager Glen Holmes has announced that for the
first time residents of Sumner and Buckfield may recycle usable items
at a Swap Shop on the transfer station grounds.
Residents may take small usable items to the site of a large
orange container there. Small items will include, but not be limited
to: household goods, small appliances in working condition, toys,
books, records, videos and sporting equipment.
Large usable items may be placed outside the container or a
bulletin board will be provided where residents can post a telephone
number for large items to be picked up.
All items brought to the Swap Shop should be clean, in good
condition and workable.
